Come meet Skyler Farasat Sunday, September 1st, from 11 AM – 1 PM! She will be reading at 11 AM, 12 PM, & 1 PM!

Skyler, 11, California, writes under the pen name Skye+Fam and is the author of five books that build self-esteem through simple, fun, and daily activities like deep breathing, reading, and coloring.

“My love for botany started in 5th grade, and I’ve always loved autumn with its beautiful rust and orange leaves. I also have great memories of giant bear mascots at Cal football games and our family’s tradition of saying thank you to nature every fall for making room for new growth. All these things inspired me to create my new book ‘Georgina’ that talks to kids about change being everywhere and change being a constant in life. It is my first coloring book because I think coloring is so relaxing and fun. But ‘Georgina’ is also a sweet story about friendship, changing seasons, and traveling around the world. You’ll learn cool life lessons while coloring your way through George and Ina’s magical adventure. I hope ‘Georgina’ and my other books bring lots of joy and positive feelings to readers of all ages.”
